Faith, Hope & Charity: a Womanist Fundraiser of Love
Ministry partners of The Gathering, A Womanist Church have organized a fundraiser to benefit our Fishes & Loaves ministry of delivering homemade meals to people experiencing homelessness, and Genesis Women’s Shelter.
The Gathering, a womanist faith community in Dallas, Texas, welcomes all people to partner in pursuing racial equity, LGBTQ equality, and dismantling PMS (patriarchy, misogyny, and sexism), following Jesus in liberating the oppressed and lifting up the marginalized.
My creative friends and ministry partners Vontril and Alexandria McLemore, who initiated Faith, Hope & Charity: a Womanist Fundraiser of Love, are doing a fantastic job of leading this project.
